During my recent stay at Hotel Iacobus in Castrojeriz, I found myself delightfully nestled within an early XX Century building that exudes a sense of history. The large room was adequately clean, although some minor details required attention. The charming terrace offered a lovely view of the mesetas, creating a tranquil environment perfect for relaxation. The hotel's restaurant provided a flexible dining menu-ideal after a day of walking the Camino. Dinner options were reasonable though there was a slight inconsistency in pricing. I enjoyed the shared lounge and library, offering a cozy retreat for unwinding with a book. While staff attentiveness fluctuated due to bar activity, the service remained warm and accommodating. For those seeking serenity, this hotel serves as a suitable base for exploration and reflection. A solid option for a rejuvenating stay.
